Jayme Schlenker Memorial Fund

The Jayme Schlenker Memorial Fund will provide critical resources for transgender youth in crisis as well as support for their family and friends. Initially this will include:

• Time-limited emergency counseling with a therapist qualified and experienced in transgender issues, referred by the rabbis.
• A therapist-led support group for transgender youth, on site at Adas Israel.
• A resource shelf in the library and posting of information around the synagogue about organizations that help transgender youth.
