Join the Wellness Center & Gan HaMishpacha for a Prenatal Yoga Series. The series will focus on linking breath to mindful movement, finding groundedness and tranquility in the mind and body, and connecting prenatal yoga practice to Jewish philosophy. Classes will involve alignment-focused vinyasa flow, restorative postures designed for pregnant individuals, guided meditation, and yogic breathing techniques. Our instructor, Olivia Siegal (RYT-200), a doctoral student in clinical psychology and stress, rumination, and anxiety researcher. Olivia is passionate about using mindful movement as a tool for stress and distress reduction, and she often integrates tools from her clinical training into her yoga classes. Olivia believes that yoga is for every body, and will always provide modifications and alternatives during postural practice, especially considering the pregnant body form. Expect to leave classes with a sense of release, renewal, and connection to your mind, body, and spirit.
