Adas Israel is an active and vibrant center of Jewish life. In this synagogue you will find programs for members of all ages and interests. I'd like to invite you to come to any of our activities or services. Join us Friday night for a service with Cantor and choir, a young family service, a traditional Kabbalat Shabbat,
or the spirited Ruach Minyan. On Shabbat morning we have a service in our main sanctuary, a traditional minyan in our chapel, a less formal Havurah minyan in our Library, Learner's minyanim, and services for children of various ages. During the year, the congregation sponsors several scholar weekends, Hebrew and Jewish Literacy classes, family programs, holiday celebrations, and the like. We offer many opportunities to get involved in social action and service projects that serve our members and the larger community. Our schools and educational programs have over 700 children involved, from toddlers to high school seniors, and adults. Please join us at services or at any activity of your interest. When you come, identify yourself to a Rabbi, Cantor, Officer, or member of the Membership Committee who will be present. Our clergy or our executive director, Glenn Easton, would be happy to answer your questions about the synagogue, or direct you to an activity in an area of your interest. I look forward to welcoming you at Adas Israel. Feel free to call me at the synagogue. Sincerely,
Ed Kopf, President |
